The registration tent was busy . . with the baggage and men's changing tents close by . .

the start and finish was already set up and busy with the Junior races . .

and the lovely people from St John were in place in case of an emergency . .

There was plenty of water available . . which probably explained the queue for the loos . .

the younger runners were eager to learn the results of their races . . and a mountain of doughnuts waited for the runners to finish and the marshals and helpers to get back to the playing field . .

and after a few circuits of the field to warm up, it was time to get the Half Marathon and 10k started . .
