after the last marshal had cycled past me, I carried my step ladder back to the car at the Sports Centre, and when I got back to the sports field the CPM cyclists were just setting off for Dublin . . as you do . .

time for a quick natter, and a massage, whilst we wait for the results so that the prizes can be presented by Greg Searle . .

at the time that the presentation took place I was being bothered by a swarm of black flies that was attracted for some reason to my high-vis vest. So when Greg gave Race Winner Charlie his prize I wasn't really paying attention and didn't get the shot I wanted of the 2 guys together . . then after Charlie there was that horrible pause whilst we realised that 2nd placed Thomas wasn't around . . and then Julien received his prize for coming 3rd . .

next up were Sam, Sophie and Joanne, the first 3 ladies to finish . .

whilst John was the first Super-Vet, and David the first Ultra-Vet to come home . .

Lisa, the first Lady Super-Vet, possibly didn't realise she'd won a prize and so had disappeared, but Margaret, the first Lady Ultra-Vet had stuck around for her prize . .

the first two Junior finishers, Harry and Rosie, were also presented with prizes . .

as was George, the first Thame resident to complete the Race . .

Woodstock Harriers were the first in the Mens' Team Race . .

and it was great to see my friends from Alchester Running Club receive first prize in the Ladies' Team Race . .

and before most of us went home, this gentleman accepted this award on behalf of the first Corporate Team home, who were CPM . .
