It seemed to take a while before the area around Race HQ filled up with eager runners . . maybe it was because of the weather forecast . . or maybe I'd arrived earlier than usual . . but once 10 o'clock had come and gone people began to turn up and register, and collect their race numbers . .

. . before then of course, there was the Junior Trail race to enjoy . .

Whilst the youngsters were out getting muddy . . registration for the 10k continued . .
