This year's Triffic Trail 10k took place on what was a mostly gloomy morning (although the sun did come out to play for a while) in Trent Country Park. It may have been muddy, soggy and windy but that couldn't detract from the beautiful surroundings . .

. . when I arrived the marshals were being briefed . .

. . and the finish was being set up . .

. . before the main event, the Triffic Trail 10k, 55 young athletes took part in a Junior Trail race . .

 . . and once they were back at Race HQ, it was time to get ready to race the 10k . .
