. . not quite "after the race" . . in fact it's only half way . . but this marshal was photographed as the last runners were approaching her and she was still smiling and encouraging just as much as she had when the leaders went by . .

 . . how many runners groaned beforehand, and wondered if they would have to run a lap of the Playing Field before finishing? Remarkably, this course took you from the riverbank, to the field, and straight to the finish line . . which was nice!

 . . Race Officials working hard to ensure the results were recorded correctly . . some more old friends, still pleased to see me after all that hard running . . more finishers . . Race Director seems to be everywhere . . still more finishers . . and some anxious runners waiting for their Frome club mates to come in . .

 . . and now the Prize Giving . . Congratulations to one and all . .
