There's so much to look at and admire from the top of the Downs that sometimes it's difficult to know just where to look . .

I particularly liked this rectangle of trees in the middle of a field . . how many years have they been there? . .

Watching this glider coming in to land reminded me that I've never been up in a glider . . it looks wonderful . .

. . however at a few minutes after 10 it was time to concentrate on the matter in hand as a colourful winding snake of runners made their way along the footpath towards me . .

I think these three guys were the 10.15 start . .
