 . . the drink station was ready and waiting at Potts Farm . . although closer inspection showed that the lines of cups could have been ever so slightly straighter!

 . . that guy on a bike was still in front when the race reached us at this point . .

 . . and as he passed the first marshal on his way through Lower Layham, looked determined to hang on to his lead!! . .

 . . back in Hadleigh it was a fowl day . . ducks, turkeys, geese and chickens . .

 . . and on the River Brett, this swan was trying to get rid of an itch . .

 . . but all was calm and tranquil on the other side of the bridge . .

 . . and if you looked hard enough, Lower Layham was full of colour . .
