This year's Hadleigh 10 took place on a grey, cool but dry morning . .

. . and when I arrived, just about everything was ready for the race . .

. . it just needed the runners to turn up . . and as 11 o'clock approached, that's what they did . .

. . after a few words from the Race Director, the 2010 Hadleigh 10 was under way . .

 . . followed 5 minutes later by the Junior 2k race . .

. . I made my way up to Potts Farm, just before the 4 mile point . . and shortly afterwards the runners were coming through . . with the eventual winner of the race, Robert Reason of Harwich Harriers, already well in the lead . .

. . after taking photos there for 15 minutes I got down to Lower Layham, in the 8th mile . .

. . where I remained, taking photos, until the Last Runner Marshall had cycled by . .

. . and whilst I was there, was serenaded by this Robin . .
