Check out the cool Nike parkrun gazebo, won for Leeds by Sam Dooley in that Nike comp that took place in the autumn (sorry, can't remember the details) . .

it's not easy keeping warm in the cold you know . . we'd far sooner be running and getting warm!!

the equipment's almost as important as the Volunteers . .

serious business . . carrying the start banners down to the Wellington boot statue . . battling with the permafrost to get the banners in . . and making sure the timing's going to happen . .

and with the runners having disappeared across the park . . the start/finish team are in transition . .

and now hard at work clicking timers, checking numbers, handing out tokens, and entering data . . couldn't be a parkrun without them!!
