and as it gets closer to 9 am and parkrun start time, Ashlee welcomes everyone to the new parkrun and briefs them about the course . .

and with me walking backwards, and occasionally looking over my shoulder to see where I'm going, inevitably the 1st ever Crystal Palace parkrun begins when I'm not looking!!

there's a great turn out of 49 runners who completed the 5k, plus some one lappers, and as they head off along the course I took a short cut over the grass to get the photos below of them disappearing towards the northernmost corner of the Park . .
