all
sorts of people came along to Norman Park for the Sport Relief event
. . amongst the most prominent being Ashlee, who'd organised the
whole thing on behalf of Bromley Mytime; Martin, who looked after
the 3 races; and Smashy'n'Nicey, who's dulcet tones echoed around
the Park all morning . .
The
Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Douglas Auld, and the Mayoress, Mrs Pat
Auld, were there to support the Event and help Present the Prizes .
. and were encouraged by Paul Elliott, former Premiership
footballer, who is Patron of Bromley Mytime . .
someone
else helping with the presentations needs no further introduction .
.
Ashlee
had a great team of people assisting her with the organisation of
this Event, and on the day itself, just a few of whom are pictured
here . .
there
were plenty of people in some great examples of Fancy Dress . . more
examples on the runners pages
and of
course we all heaved a sigh of relief when the Superheroes arrived,
leaving Superman elsewhere to take care of the rest of the planet .
.
almost
everyone got to met the Queen . .
and
there were also some other special people there . . including these
members of Bromley Mytime Sports Academy
and of
course there wouldn't have been an Event at all if it weren't for
the people of Bromley, many of whom are on the runners pages,
whilst just a few are shown here . .
and
their pets, of course . . and lots of high vis vests . . and fancy
footwear . .
and him
again . .
and with
impeccable timing, Ashlee brought the Event to a close just after
1.30pm, as per the timetable . .
