it's raining, it's cold, and it's almost 9.30 . .

and we're lining up ready to get under way . . but first there has to be the pre-race briefing . .

and then a curious mixture of running kit, fancy dress, bin bags and waterproofs sets off on the 2009 Christmas Caper . .
