despite the awful weather, and the obvious allure of Christmas Shopping, there were still plenty of runners who turned up to enter on the day . .

and there was plenty of time for a natter . . and some interesting uses for shower curtains!

the nice ladies on race entry (I must remember to ask people what their names are!) requested no publicity . .

but the other marshalls and volunteers I saw were too busy to bother . .

although I seem to have taken the Race Director by surprise . .

I even managed to find 2 marshals to look after my car whilst I took the race photos!!
