Some of the Great Things about a Really Small Event* are . . as we've already seen, Race HQ is easy to find . . you don't need a huge van for the race supplies . . and parking is easy . .
chances are that you probably already know the Race Director . . registration really couldn't be simpler . . and you don't need to plan your trip to the loo 15 minutes before you actually need it . .
if you forget something, need to get back to the car for something, it's only a couple of minutes' walk away . .
and even if you're later than planned, you don't need to burst a blood vessel trying to catch up . . whilst if you've got plenty of time, you can just stroll around and take your time . .
and the chances are you'll know almost everyone . . even the bloke with the camera . .
