Once the last few runners have gone by, and the Volunteers are making their way to the finish, it's time for me to pack everything up and follow them . .

Fortunately there's a short cut we know . .

. . which meant we were back at the finish in time to see little Ella finishing her first parkrun . .

It doesn't take long then to put everything away, ready for next week, under the watchfull eyes of Ashton Court's youngest Volunteers . .

. . in fact it takes longer to queue for our coffees . . but it's well worth the wait . .
