A week before the winter solstice and it might be reasonable to expect even a parkrun morning to be a little bit damp, a little bit cold, a little bit blustery, possibly a little bit frosty. But not this time . . we had a good old parkrun morning with some blue sky, some sunshine, and the one constant . . a park full of smiles . .

Here's a short film of everyone running past me as I took their photos, early in the second kilometre. You'll see the amazing gap that Dan had already created between him and the other runners, as he went on to finish first by over 2 minutes . .

This page is mostly views of runners, or a couple of bits of Bristol, in the distance. Elsewhere on these pages you'll see the volunteers getting ready to stage the parkrun, and helping to tidy up afterwards, plus lots of pages of the parkrunners themselves, working hard to get up the hill and then skimming back down again . .
