The Torch was due to leave the University at 3.28pm . . not a moment earlier or later . . and our man was the second runner in the chain . .

At around 3pm, a cavalcade of vehicles arrived from the direction of Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire . .

We had a brilliant view point, as there was a dog leg in the middle of Sean's brief run, which meant we could stand in such a position as to see him, and all the vehicles that preceded and followed him, coming directly towards us . .

. . and after a brief wait, some Police motor bikes came by . .

. . followed by more Policemen . . and then some larger vehicles . .

. . after which we were treated to a Policeman on a bike . .

. . more motorbikes . .

. . another cyclist . .

. . and more motorbikes!! And then a van . . behind which was a bigger van . . and we wondered when, and how, would we ever see Our Man . .
