Our taxi dropped us all off at a point half way through Sean's 300 metre run. We weren't the first to arrive and the crowd continued to grow for the next hour, until the road closed and access was almost impossible . .

Bath University Sports grounds were full of schoolchildren playing sport . .

. . and there were glimpses of the corporate bandwagon that follows events like the Olympics nowadays . .

. . but mostly, there were lots and lots of Sean's family and friends, all there to share and enjoy his special moment . . and probably, the slowest 300 metre run of Sean's running career . .

I loved how this school came across the fields to get to their vantage point . .

. . and of course, as always, there were many distractions for a man with a camera in his hand . .
