. . and once the results were in Nigel Bush, the Race Director, was able to start the Prize Giving . .

. . the Mayor of Sandy, Councillor Susan Sutton, presented most of the prizes . . here are the two winners, Sally Onn from St Albans Striders, and Will Green of Serpentine Running Club . .

. . St Albans Striders and Trent Park Running Club won the Team prizes . . whilst Bedford Harriers won the prize for being the best-represented club . . obviously more than two of them took part in the race . .

. . and the race was also the Bedfordshire 10 mile Championship Race . . with some by now familiar faces receiving their County medals . .
