I was able to get back to the finish before San Domenico's Gareth Green, seen here crossing the final couple of fields, who won the race in a record time for the current course of 55 minutes 56 seconds . .

This is where he was aiming for . . although he had to run along a stream and climb the final short sharp hill before he was to cross the line . .

. . I did my best to get photos of all the runners coming through the stream . . but managed to take a few photos of some runners at the top of the final ascent . . and of a few groups of runners meeting up again after completing their race . .

. . and finally the tail runner, crossing the field with an arm full of tape and posts . . before dropping them and completing the full course . .
