There were still a few runners behind me after I'd taken my short cut to the finish . .

And this report wouldn't be complete without mentioning the contribution of the Volunteers . . it's thanks to them that we can enjoy parkrun. It's great fun too!

We had company beside the service road this morning . . our initial fears for the safety of the runners at the sight of a crowd of camouflaged young people were put to rest when we found that it was a group from the local OTC taking a navigation course . .
