Of course we share the park with many other creatures, some of whom seem more at home than others, although today I was only able to take photos of some of the birds - I saw one Squirrel but s/he was too quick for me and I didn't get round to the enclosures with the Alpacas and Wallabies . .

 . . this may be an explanation of the phrase "daft as a coot" . .

 . . wish they'd had parks like this when I was shorter!!

 . . there's even a maze in East Park nowadays . .

and this, known as the Khyber Pass . . such a shame parkrun doesn't run through it . . that would really make it a parkrun with a difference!!
