So, with it being a chilly morning there was lots going on in Race HQ . .

and whilst the Cake was being saved for afterwards, there was plenty of tea and coffee . . and you couldn't move for photographers!

over on Apennine Way, were the 10k was due to start, the Officials and Runners were beginning to gather . .

making their way from Race HQ mostly in groups . . there's warmth as well as safety in numbers after all . . and one day, someone's going to push what they're stretching against over . . and I'll get the photo when they do!

Mr Bruno seemed to be in pensive mood . .

and as the final few moments passed the Runners completed their preparations . .

once the Race was under way, I made my way back to Race HQ, where the Finish was ready and waiting . . these two guys were minding the timing equipment . . and this guy was, I think, looking after the bullhorn . .

and then, with the last few Runners disappearing into the distance, we all trudged back to Vandyke School . .

where the clock was still clicking away, and water and goodie bags waited to be handed out . .

meanwhile the Runners were busy taking their own photos . . and drinking more tea and coffee . 

Colin asked to have his photo taken . . and I couldn't resist this fine pair of hats!

once the results were available there was of course a presentation which Paul was photographing . . here's Stephen getting a helping hand from his daughter to collect his prize for 2nd place, whilst 1st Lady Natasha gets in a bit of a tangle, trying to thank two people at once and turn round to face the camera at the same time . .
