Where better to start than the finish? And other banners . .

this tent did get put up, despite the clear flaw in the methodology, and many grateful runners benefitted from a massage from David within it's walls following the Run . . and over on the other side of the Pavilion, the car park was filling up nicely . .

inside the Pavilion, marshals were being briefed . . lost or forgotten numbers were being replaced . . and tea and coffee was drunk as we all waited for the magical time of 10 past 10 . .

outside, work was still going on to ensure that everything was in place before the Run started . .

whilst other runners, friends and families were meeting up, warming up, and catching up . .

just minutes before the start now, and the signs are living and breathing . . the Marshal Co-ordinator has time for a chat . . and even the Race Director is smiling . .

whilst at the finish everything is in place for when the runners return . .

and portaloos . . we've never had portaloos at the Ridgeway Run before . . not quite the height of sophistication but we thought it was pretty special!
