this is the page I use to show some of the other things that caught my eye during the event . . and I was amused by the sign that asked us to give way to golfers . .

until I saw these guys . . and I wish I'd taken a 3rd photo in the sequence of the golfer on the right because when that ball left the club face it went very low, in a curve, past the big tree in the middle of the photo, but to the left of the next set of trees . . and I began to think that the sign should read "look out for golfers" . .

I don't know if the dog got a t-shirt or not but he earned one . .  as did Race Winner Jonathan Blackledge . .

see that photo on the right . . that's my favourite that is . .

and whilst the concrete, tarmac and metal ribbon winds it's way noisily through the valley . .

just the other side of the bushes is a peaceful scene that probably has hardly changed for years . .

but for solitude, you would probably find this hard to beat . . hope the heater worked . .
