I thought it was about time to go to some more parkruns, and where better to begin than the Park where parkrun started . . Bushy Park, in Teddington, where the 260th edition of this particular parkrun was being held in lovely warm sunshine

Those who know me reasonably well know that I can be navigationally challenged at times, but always set off optimistically, expecting to reach my destination in plenty of time. Today was different . . I got to the right place with no trouble at all. In fact I did it rather too well because I got there so early that nobody else was there and so I assumed I'd done it again and set off to find another car park in the Park . . and then left myself with a fair walk back to the first car park, which I reached about 15 minutes before the start!! I really should have the courage of my convictions!

Anyway, Bushy Park was a lovely place to be on a Saturday morning. I should have known that . . parkrun doesn't do *ugly* after all!! The sun shone, the runners smiled and sweated, and the volunteers as ever did a great job . .

The links to the left will take you to photos of the start . . photos of almost all of the runners finishing . . and a few other photos of people after the race . .

I come along to parkrun events to take photos for the same reason as you run them, for enjoyment and fun (and I do intend to run some soon, too), and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from these Bushy Park parkrun pages of mine, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
