I'd decided to try to photograph all the runners at the end of the long straight road out of Eppleworth, as by then they would be nicely spread out . . I opted not to find a "nice" spot on the final climb because it's just not fair to do that, is it!!

Here's the beginning of that final winding ascent to the finish . . some heroic marshalls . . and the leading runners approaching us . .

some more clusters of runners streaming towards us . . and a couple of spectators . .

when I first arrived at the bottom of the hill, one of the marshals there suggested that a shot of a blurred runner going by, with the Mill in focus, would make an interesting photo. He's right too, although as you can see, I didn't quite achieve it!!

another cluster . . a runner in distress being marshalled . . and the sweeper upper on his bike . .

shortly after 1 o'clock, the presentation took place . . as ever, with everyone moving around so quickly in tricky light, I struggled to get any good photos, but this small selection give a reasonable idea of what went on . .

and on the way home . . a final glimpse of Skidby Mill . .
