Welcome to Croxton!! Home, amongst other things, of the Breckland 10k, the race that had almost* everything yesterday, including weather fit for all 4 seasons!

as well as this unusual village sign (which is copied at the Village Hall), there are some interesting buildings such as this Church with a round tower, and a Primitive Wesleyan Chapel that's over 200 years old . .

there was, of course, a race on, and here's what we were all aiming for - the finish line . . and the memento that very runner earned . . and it was good to see some finishers coming back up the course to look for a clubmate . .

not much wildlife in this arable part of the world . .

* what was missing this year was the hog roast which had been a part of the post-race fun . . although I daresay that the hog was pleasantly surprised . .
