. . and there's plenty of activity beyond the finish line as runners wait to register . .or having done that, wait for other runners to complete the course . .

. . and those who managed to cut out the walk across the Knavesmire before parkrun have to complete it to get back home again afterwards . .

This week the lovely people from the Poppy Coffee Co were delayed and were unable to park in their usual spot, right beside the finish line . . but there they were, just around the corner, and of course the coffee was excellent . .

. . and as the final Volunteers leave the Knavesmire behind . . those of us that remain enjoy our coffee and a conversation, before disappearing for another week . .

Throughout the time we were there, this tractor was trundling up and down the racecourse . . and the course looked great once he'd finished . .

York parkrun takes place on most Saturday mornings at 9 o'clock. Some weekends there are other events taking place which mean that parkrun can't take place . . so please check the York parkrun website or Facebook page to confirm that the run's on before visiting . .
