Over on Mill Road, everyone had been busy setting up the finish, and as runners and supporters continued to arrive from Keldgate Road and the School . .

 . . the St John's Ambulance people made sure that they were ready . . and the runners followed their pre-race routines of stretching, running or chattering . .

 . . here's Nippy's best mate . . and the runners and marshals waiting for the start . . 

 . . whilst the race was underway, marshals spread out to the latter part of the course . . not sure what's going on in the last photo but the runners would be arriving from the opposite direction . .

 . . and when I returned to the finish, just ahead of the final few runners, the timekeepers and recorders were still waiting . . and of course, there were still some hard-earned t-shirts waiting to be collected . .
