This week I was back at Milton Keynes, my *home* parkrun, and for once the runners didn't have any ice to contend with. Despite this being the day before the MK Half Marathon, we still had 54 runners take part, and on the other hand, because it was the day before the MK HM, we had more Volunteers than before. And so the MK Parkrun community continues to grow . .

As usual, there was something to catch my eye both before and during the parkrun . . first of all it was the juxtaposition of these Autumnal colours in the first week of Spring . .

there was this curious, beautiful swan . .

a stern looking cygnet and this determined goose . .

another curious swan . .

and I've heard of sticking your neck *out* but . . and a stealth grebe . .

You can find more photos by clicking on the buttons to the left or below - clicking this is MK parkrun will bring you back to this page . . there's a special page about using the park, a page of photos taken of the start, some views I took during the parkrun and just 5 photos from the end, because this week I parked myself at about 4½k . .

You'll find lots of photos of the runners, taken at the end of the long straight alongside Willen Lake, by clicking on "the runners" . .

I come along to parkruns to take photos for the same reason as you run them, for enjoyment and fun and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from these pages, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
