Monday . . late! The photos are finally up and once again my apologies for taking a while longer than promised. I had to faff around at lunchtime swapping my almost new but broken PC for a brand new one that was constructed in July (ah . . but when where the parts made?!!) and play around with that first . . but now, the photos are up. Hope you like them . .

The start line's in the park, by the statue with the red boots . . so said race director Charlotte when she responded to my e-mail warning her that I'd be bringing my camera along to Hyde Park . .

Continuing my journey around the parkruns . . as I was in York this weekend it made sense to pop down the road to Leeds and find out what was going on here. I expected something a little different to the London events I'd attended previously, knowing that there's a heavy University of Leeds involvement here, although of course the parkrun is open to all. So I was intrigued to discover if the dynamic felt any different. And it didn't, what I found was the same as at my previous different parkruns, a healthy mix of abilities and ages . . everyone with a smile on their face and a warm greeting on their lips . .

I was also checking the event out because in September my brother and his wife are over from Australia for a short visit, and Phil and I are coming over to run Leeds parkrun then . . I'll be the one that comes second . . and I may be able to persuade Fiona to take some photos. But probably not as many as are on the following pages . .

Don't forget that I come along to parkrun events to take photos for the same reason as we all run them, for enjoyment and fun, and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download these low res photos, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
