I had planned to be at Leeds parkrun on Boxing Day but chose to postpone my visit for a week, which meant I could return once again to Bedfont Lakes. Resources were thin on the ground, with the ski centre closed over the road - so no signage and no coffee or breakfast! Fortunately we had plenty of volunteers . .

and 20 runners turned up, including, ironically, 2 newcomers to Bedfont Lakes, Steve and Rebecca, whose home parkrun is Leeds. I was banished to the furthest corner of the park to make sure the runners followed the correct route, and so didn't get a chance to have a natter . .

the menu on the left should help you find your way round these pages . . this is the intro page. I come along to parkruns to take photos for the same reason as we all run them, for enjoyment and fun, and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from any of my parkrun pages, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
