Top Banana!!!!! What a fab race this was!!!!

Can't believe it took me almost 2½ hours to cover 10 miles :-O:-O:-O ;-)

Although according to MotionBased I spent 11 minutes not moving :-) I'm surprised it was as few as that, actually!

And it's true that I took lots of photos on the way round . . and I had a good natter with the marshalls at the 2 drinks stations :-)

And I spent some time Beached on my Tum, after Taking a Tumble in the Last Mile (well it'd have been Rude not to, given the Name of the Race ;-))

One Moment I was Ambling Along a narrow, v v muddy trail, chatting away to the lady just in front of me . . and the Next Moment I landed on my Forehead and One Nanosecond Later was Eating Wiltshire Dirt :-O

Not a Meal I'd care to Repeat ;-)

It's a Great Race :-):-)

There was a Blue Peter Presenter taking part and being Filmed doing so . . Rumour has it she's training for a 70m Endurance Event and when she finished was Taken Around Again by her Coach :-O however I don't know the Truth of the Rumour as she didn't lap me ;-)

Euphemism of the day . . having worked hard to get to the Top of a Hill in about the 3rd Mile . . (ie Walked v v Fast) . . sheltered by a Lovely Grove of Trees . . as we got into the Open the Lady in Grey beside me said

"this wind's *refreshing* isn't it" :-O ;-)

it was bloomin' freezin' :-):-):-)

Which is why the Marshalls have to be Thanked for turning up, and for being so helpful, and cheerful, they did a great job which I certainly wouldn't have enjoyed doing! Not so bad for the people based at HQ but the Baggage Handlers took care of my bag for me, and the Cake Makers and Sellers and all the other people involved with the catering should all be thanked. :-):-)

So thanks to all the organising team for a lovely event, and to all the other runners coz you were Fun to be with, especially the ones ahead of me who helped to make it So Very Very Muddy!! :-):-):-)

Loved it!!!!! :-):-)
