Having been invited to an evening in Bristol on the 10th of January, I looked for a race to do on my way home to Aylesbury the following day.

I chose this, the Rough'n'Tumble 10 miler, because it advertised *Cake* . . and only when it was too late did I discover that it's not an especially flat race.

Still, following my new regime of not setting myself target times, I was happy with the notion of ambling along at the back, and taking photos of the course and the scenery on the way around . .
