Another trip to Bedfont Lakes - now officially my "home" parkrun, knowing in advance that once again I'd be able to take part in the race so it would be "before" and "after" photos for me . .

I tried to get there early this week to get some photos of the waterfowl on the lake, and although I saw some, they were extremely timid and headed off into the distance no matter how hard I tried to be still and merge with the background . .

Thought you may like to know that sometimes Race Directors and Number One Photographers turn up at parkruns extra early so they can enjoy a run too . . below are Heather and Martin heading off far in the distance . .

and heading back on the long straight towards home a little later . .

and here are my feathered friends . . parent and young coots and grebes . .

a view across the lake . .

some swans over the road ready to ski . .

and one with no feathers . .

Remember that I come along to parkrun events to take photos for the same reason as we all run them, for enjoyment and fun, and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from my Bedfont Lake parkrun pages, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
