Yes, I know, I was at Bedfont Lakes last week as well. It was the breakfast you see . . I had to follow my nose!! In fact I thought it would be fun to go back to a parkrun a second time and as I thought Bedfont Lakes was the closest to home, it seemed like a good plan to return today. Since making that decision mind you, I've discovered that Slough isn't exactly where I thought it was on a map (as a cartographer what would I know!!?) and so the Lakes at Bedfont are the second closest to me . .

As I sat and prepared these pages the evening before the race I realised that I wanted to run. And why not? I knew Martin would be there with his camera as well, so everyone would have their photo taken during the race, so I could probably get time off from the Race Director to take place in the race . . and here I am (thanks, Martin) on the left of the photo below

So this week's photos show what happens before the parkrun, in, and on, the Lakes . . and then there's a page of everyone gathering and stretching before the run . . and finally, a page of those who were still there when I completed my first parkrun . .

In case you're wondering, I come along to parkrun events to take photos for the same reason as we all run them, for enjoyment and fun, and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from my Bedfont Lake parkrun pages, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!
