Continuing my photographic journey around parkrun events, I arranged to go to Richmond today, because many of my running friends take part in the parkrun there. A couple of weeks beforehand however, I heard from Richmond r/d Heather and found that she'd be at Bedfont Lakes this morning, not Richmond, and how did I feel about going there instead. Well yes please, it's 12 miles closer to home, I may even get an extra 30 minutes in bed!!!

Clicking on *the runners* to the left will take you to thumbnails of each of the runners at the end of the first loop. There are also some photos from the start, and just a handful of runners finishing. My main aim today was to get photos of the volunteers and of what takes place at a parkrun, as well as the running.

I come along to parkrun events to take photos for the same reason as you run them, for enjoyment and fun (and I do intend to run some soon, too), and although I do sell photos taken at other races, I don't sell those that I take at parkruns. If you would like a high resolution version of any of the photos (the images on display being low res), please get in touch, tell me which photo and I'll gladly send you the file.

You're also welcome to download the photos from my Bedfont Lake parkrun pages, but if you use them for anything that others may see, please tell them the race photographer dot com took it. Thanks!

and if the 5k wasn't enough for you, there's always the Bedfont Lakes Country Park Trim Trail waiting for you to complete!!
