there were still a few places available on the day, and then it was a 5 minute walk from Race HQ to the start in Cassiobury Park, where there was a lot of activity preparing everything for the race . .

the marshals were briefed about their locations . .

and there were molehills to be flattened . .

and the trees in the Park were displaying some wonderful colours . .

many of the host club Watford Joggers were taking part in the race . .

and of course, as everyone knows, it's obligatory for the recipient of number 118 to look the part . .
