There was an early start for four members of Bristol & West Athletic Club so that we could get to London in time to watch the start of the Marathon . .  especially as we had to go via Kilburn to meet up with a club mate . . her sister was running the race and we were coming along to support her and anybody else we might recognise as they ran past . .
