Summer was on the wane on Ashton Court parkrun day number one one eight. And as the Kite Festival was taking place up on the plateau, we had to use the B course, which involves running half way up the hill, turning round and running almost into Long Ashton, and turning round and going back up again . .

I'm not a big fan of the two half hills, so it was best that I volunteered and recorded everyone else running as hard as they could. It's so inspirational watching everyone, and parkrun volunteering is always such fun too . .

Here's a short video of everyone setting off on their parkrun adventure . .

The first few photos show the volunteers preparing for parkrun, and the runners arriving, meeting up with Saturday morning friends, and getting ready to go . .
