Despite the overnight snow, when I arrived at Race HQ an hour before the start of the Race, there were already plenty of runners there . . and the registration desk was busy . .

. . the school hall wasn't as busy as it usually is on Charnwood Hills Race day but that was hardly surprising, and it soon began to fill up . .

. . as always, the catering here was excellent . . and I can testify to the high quality of the cake . .

. . important race information was clearly displayed for all to see . .

. . before I went back into the cold to get ready for the start . . and found that parking was still "interesting" . .

. . and at the end of the Race, this happy Huncote Harrier still had enough breath to blow out the candles on her birthday cake . .
