I'm not qualified to take part in this race, but it's nice to be able to come along and take the photos of everybody enjoying themselves and having such a great morning . .

This year of course, thanks to the date, there was the added excitement of a Halloween theme, as some of my photos will show . .

I enjoyed catching up with some bewitching friends . .

although I could have done without the rain that came down as we waited for the start . . not that it stopped the Mayor of Bicester, Councillor Richard Mould, from smiling . .

once the race was underway, as usual I enjoyed just being out in the lovely countryside . .

when you see someone looking like this cycling towards you, you look for somewhere to hide . . and when they call out your name . . you worry it may be too late . .

and although the sun strained to break through the cloud, it never quite got through . .

and finally, spare a thought for the marshal on the bike at the back . . 10k on a bike in the rain isn't my idea of fun!!
